If you have always wanted to get involved in trail work or learn the basics of trail construction and maintenance, or are a seasoned vet looking to learn new techniques and brush up on old ones, this class is for you. The class and field work will be taught and supervised by members of Evergreen’s professional trail staff. This is a great opportunity to learn from the pros!
We especially love to teach new people who have never done trail work before, so don’t hesitate to sign up and we will show you the ropes!

9am – sign in, introductions, plan for the day
9:15 am – Begin classroom slideshow presentation
11:30 am – 12:00 pm – Lunch (Pizza provided by TREAD)
12:30pm Meet at trailhead talk safety and work plan
1:00pm – Hike to worksite and begin demonstrations and work
4pm – Gather up tools and hike out
