This walk showcases the great diversity of species found here, with many in flower that time of year. Expect to find over one hundred species, including many wild buckwheats, penstemons, phlox, paintbrushes, bitterroot and more. In addition, the views and geology on display are spectacular!
Participants will meet at the Peshastin Park-n-Ride to carpool to the trailhead near Haney Meadows, returning to the cars by 3pm. Bring snacks, lunch and water, wear sturdy footwear and dress in layers for the weather. Ted will email participants a plant list.
