Discover practical life-saving survival skills that enhance your outdoor adventures with Jason Knight — the author of the bestselling book The Essential Skills of Wilderness Survival. Jason has consulted as a local wilderness skills expert for the Discovery Channel and has been featured on NPR. He provides custom survival training to a broad range of clients including the WA State Department of Ecology and the US Forest Service.
Together, we’ll learn about the keys to effective natural shelter-building, primitive water purification, friction fire-making, wild edibles foraging, and other skills that will keep you alive in emergencies. Through this presentation, you’ll come away with practical survival knowledge and a deeper connection with nature.
This program is a great pre-course for our in-person Outdoor Survival Skills Field Excursion in the Skagit Valley on March 30.
If you can’t make the specific date or time of a class you want to take, you can still register and we will send you a link to view the program on your own time! All registrants will have access to the class recording for a limited time to re-watch too.
