Winter Solstice Walk

The Chelan Douglas Land Trust presents this Winter Solstice Walk at Castle Rock Trail.

Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year — and we’re celebrating a day early with a sunrise hike! Join us on this enchanting walk to welcome the sun and make the most of this day.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with others and explore Castle Rock. We look forward to sharing this solstice experience with you!

Details:

• We will walk a total of 2 miles with an elevation gain of 420 feet on compacted soil.
• You are welcome to walk with the group or go at your own pace.
• We will stop at the second viewpoint to do the intention-setting activity.
• We will gather at the trailhead shelter for warm beverages and pastries at the end of the hike.

Registration is required. Space is limited; please register below. By registering, you will receive updated information regarding the event, as well as notifications in the event of any cancellations due to weather.

Accessibility: The Land Trust is working to make all of our events as accessible as possible. Please let us know at least one week in advance if there is anything we can do or provide to support you in participating in this outing to the fullest, and we will do our best to accommodate you as much as possible.
