This event is hosted by the Wenatchee River Institute Second Wednesday of every month from 8-9:30am (1/11, 2/8, 3/8) Join knowledgeable WRI staff on this beginner bird walk around the WRI campus! Antoine Etienne and the Flora of His Namesake Creek

This event is hosted by the Wenatchee River Institute Wednesday, February 8th from 7-8pm in WRI’s Red Barn In 1860, a Black prospector named Antoine Etienne mined for gold in Peshastin Creek, the creek that now bears his name. Reports claim that he found $1,100 worth of gold, which would be worth over $100,000 today. Come learn about this fascinating Washington pioneer and take a look at Etienne Creek's flora.
