Steve Burchett Memorial Ski and Golf Classic

On December 18th, 1994, Steve Burchett died from injuries sustained in an avalanche burial while doing avalanche mitigation work at Mission Ridge Ski Area. Steve loved to ski and golf. The proceeds from this tournament are used to sponsor professional ski patrollers in their pursuit of continued education, purchase new rescue equipment for the Mission Ridge Mountain Patrol, and further avalanche education for all winter enthusiasts. This event is hosted by the Mission Ridge Pro Patrol.
