National Public Lands Day-Free National Park Entrance

Established in 1994 and held annually on the fourth Saturday in September, National Public Lands Day is traditionally the nation's largest single-day volunteer effort. It celebrates the connection between people and green space in their community, inspires environmental stewardship, and encourages use of open space for education, recreation, and health benefits. Tour Bilingüe de Desove de Salmó | Bilingual Salmon Spawning Tour Location: Wenatchee River Institute On this driving tour hosted by the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust and the Wenatchee River Institute, you'll visit three locations to observe and learn about the last stages of a salmon's life. Wenatchee River Salmon Festival

Get ready for the 31st anniversary Wenatchee River Salmon Festival: Location: Rocky Reach Dam and Discovery Center Celebrating Salmon People! Salmon Festival is a fun, family-friendly event where visitors get with hands-on natural resources activities, education, exhibits and entertainment! Adaptive Cycling

This event will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 155 N Worthen Street (the parking lot near the pedestrian bridge and little railway, just north of Pybus).
