In celebration of this healing flower we are going to learn about it’s medicinal properties and uses through an introductory salve making class and learn how to draw and paint this beautiful garden ally.
Sarah Michels with Infuse Organics is hosting this amazing workshop in her studio. She is an expert in creating natural and organic skin care products and will guide us in the basics of how to use Calendula as a salve. We will look at the fresh and dried plant, discuss the science of creating a plant based medicine and create our own. As the salve cools we will take the time to honor this flower by painting it! Amber Zimmerman of Sip & Paint will guide us in a step by step painting class using acrylics on a 6″ x 6″ canvas. We will have time for tea & biscuits too! You will leave with fresh batch of your own salve and art.
