Give your mother the gift of an evening spent in nature. One of our newest protected properties, Sleepy Hollow Preserve contains almost 40 acres of land along the lower Wenatchee. On this outing, we will explore what makes this place so special and important to protect. This takes place the day after Mother’s Day, so we will be including Mother’s Day-themed activities on this outing.
While the route itself is flat, the ground is rocky and uneven, so good footwear and physical ability are required. We will be visiting during flood season, so there is a chance that access will be limited, and it will be a good idea to bring rubber boots and clothes you don’t mind getting wet in order to cross shallow side channels. We will cancel this outing in the event of a major flood.
Though public access will be available in the future, the only way to access this property now is on a guided Land Trust outing. We expect this to fill quick – don’t miss out!
RSVP required. More information will be emailed to participants prior to the trip. Sign up online here. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call (509) 667-9708 with any questions.
