March 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free
Date: March 19, 2026 7:00PM
Location: Wenatchee River Institute Red Barn, Leavenworth
This will be an in-person presentation and livestreamed and recorded on the WRI YouTube channel; to get the link, prior to the event visit https://wenatcheeriverinstitute.org/programs/community/red-barn-events.html
Jack Mynatt, Tracy Maynard, and Mike Power will talk about native plant photography. They have been annoying their hiking companions for decades with lengthy stops to take pictures and have had several of their photos accepted for the WNPS Calendar. All three are avid, long-time hikers, skiers, and amateur photographers. Jack and Tracy are on the board of the Wenatchee chapter of the WNPS.
Jack and Tracy will focus (so to speak) on iPhone photography; Mike uses a DSLR. In addition to showing some pretty pictures, they will discuss a few technical issues, problems, and solutions, and make suggestions for taking better shots.
