In this course you will learn what to pack, how to move a victim (building stretchers, etc.) water rescues, tourniquets, possible wilderness injuries, teamwork (who makes the decisions) and prolonged patient care. Build a short (0.1 mile) section of wildlife-friendly fence on the western boundary of the Horse Lake Reserve. Expect to dig postholes, pound steel t-posts, and pull and staple wire. The Horse Lake Half-Marathon, 7-Mile and 5-Mile Trail Runs are held on the 1,700-acre Horse Lake Reserve, located in the Wenatchee Foothills near the city of Wenatchee, and owned by the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust.
