This will be the 17th official count for Leavenworth and the 118th year for the National Audubon Society. Birders will be assigned a route and meet their leader at a designated area. In recognition or their service, Mission Ridge will be honoring Firefighters, EMTs, and Law Enforcement professionals by providing free skiing and riding from opening day through the third weekend in December. Chelan County PUD Presents- On November 20, 2017, Andrew Grassell, Energy Development and Conservation manager, outlined a proposal to establish rates for LED streetlights that recognize energy savings and could lead to grants to cover the costs for small cities to install them. Grassell said changes in the energy charge for LED streetlights would mean savings of about $1.40 per light each month.
