Beginner Bird Walks with Wenatchee River Institute October 12th, November 9th, December 14th (every second Wednesday of the month) 8am-9:30am @ WRI Join WRI for a birding walk around the WRI campus! All birding experience levels are welcome. Loaner binoculars are available, too! You’ll also learn to use eBird, the largest biodiversity-related community science project in the world. Ohme will be participating in make a difference day this year by providing firewood that will heat the Wenatchee Rescue Mission. When: Saturday, October 22, 2022 @ 9:00 AM until noon. We need people who can gather, cut and load the wood. And especially need some volunteers who can bring their chainsaws. Please bring work gloves, sturdy work shoes and long sleeves.
