New Responsible Winter Recreation Resource

We’re sharing an important message from the Recreate Responsibly Coalition and partner organizations about recreating safely and responsibly, especially as our state continues to face challenges from flooding and wind damage. These conditions can change landscapes quickly, creating hazards that aren’t always obvious when heading outdoors.

Responsible recreation helps protect not only ourselves, but also first responders, land managers, and the communities that support access to these places we love. This means checking current conditions before you go, respecting closures and advisories, and being prepared to change plans if conditions are unsafe.

By staying informed and making thoughtful choices, we can help ensure everyone stays safe while minimizing impacts on already-stressed landscapes. Please take a moment to review and share this information in the link below with others—looking out for one another is part of what makes our outdoor community strong.
