Special Olympics Washington Winter Games 2024

Volunteers Needed for Special Olympics in Wenatchee

Special Olympics Washington Winter Games Return to Wenatchee February 28 – March 2, 2025

This year’s event marks the 35th anniversary of the Winter Games in Wenatchee, a milestone made possible by the dedication of volunteers and the local community. The Special Olympics Washington Winter Games are set to return to Wenatchee from Friday, February 28, through Sunday, March 2, welcoming over 1,200 athletes and coaches from across the state.

With less than a month to go, Special Olympics Washington is putting out a call for volunteers. More than 900 volunteers are needed throughout the weekend to support events ranging from alpine skiing at Mission Ridge to basketball competitions at six venues across Wenatchee and East Wenatchee. Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring a fun, competitive, and inclusive experience for all participants.

This milestone year also coincides with Special Olympics Washington’s 50th anniversary, celebrating five decades of promoting inclusion, acceptance, and athletic achievement across the state.

For those interested in volunteering, this is an opportunity to be part of a meaningful event that uplifts athletes and strengthens the community. More information on volunteer opportunities can be found through Special Olympics Washington’s official channels.

Here is a list below includes online registrations where volunteers will be needed.
