From Everett head east on US 2 for 65 miles to Stevens Pass. Continue east for another 13.5 miles. Just after passing milepost 78, turn right onto Whitepine Road (Forest Road 6950, signed “Cascade Meadows”). This is a very abrupt turnoff.
From Leavenworth the turnoff is 6.5 miles west of Coles Corner.
In 0.6 mile pass a rundown Forest Service campground. At 2.1 miles pass a church camp. At 2.7 miles bear left at a Y-junction. Continue for just over a mile, reaching the trailhead at the road’s end (elev. 2800 ft).

Leave It Better than You Found It.
This should be every user’s goal. Pick up trash left by others, pull noxious weeds along your route, throw branches over unwanted spur trails, etc.
