Jim Brisbine has been climbing Washington peaks for 40+ years, documenting hundreds of summits and thousands of trail miles in words and pictures. Jim recently went on a backcountry ski outing with Todd, Yoko, and Debra for another quasi-annual installment of Tronsen Head Loop in the Lower Wenatchee Mountains. No USFS maintenence such as log cutting and brush or limb cutting was seen before this past ski season.

A few of us put in a lot of work cutting out nearly 9 miles of Tronsen Non-Motorized Area ski trails. Simply so that we can ski. I saw and met hundreds of skiers and snowshoe hikers in the Tronsen NMA this past season, enjoying the trails.
