Stevens Pass Bike Park

The summer bike park first opened at Stevens Pass in the fall of 2011 with the opening of two trails descending from the top of the Hogsback high-speed quad chair. One of these trails (Slingshot Wookie) was for expert riders, the other (Rock Crusher) for intermediate riders.

Stevens Pass has been adding steadily to the inventory of trails but, because the resort operates on Forest Service property, this is a slow process with detailed planning, scrutiny, environmental evaluation, and public input.  As of 2014, there were six trails coming down from the top of Hogsback — one beginner run (green), three intermediate trails (blue), and two expert trails (black). A skills park has also been established at the base area of the resort.

Opening day for the bike park is snow dependent, but ski-area employees clear snow from the trail in late spring and shoot to have the park open each year by late June.

Normal Days and Hours of Operation: Fridays-Sundays, 10am-6pm, late June through early October. The ski area also has a disc-golf course played from top of Hogsback to the base and this operates on the same schedule.
